Welcome to Kinderkiez. This year workshops for the creative, recycling children of Berlin will be held in the playground at Lohmühle from 14.00 until 18.00. The workshops are all designed for kids to come and go as they please. So they easily pop from one activity to another.

Old T-shirts? Do you put them in a Humana clothes bin? Give them to a friend? Rags for cleaning? Sure, all of those are better than in the trash, but bring them along and we will show you how to change them into something useful!

Fancy yourself a jewellery connoisseur? Not until you've tried this jewellery workshop! Biketubes as cuffs and plastic bottle as bracelets. We'll show you how! Also bring some old beads to refashion. Nothing is waste!

While plastic bags are always better left at the shop and not taken home, sometimes we can't avoid taking them with us (with our groceries). A fun workshop using these fused with an iron. Colourful, useable and better than in the bin!

We also have a great big pile of (clean) trash for you to build and create something BIG. Maybe a fort, maybe a monster. It's just you and the trash. And some glue and tape.
