The Fahrende GerüchteKüche z.k. is a mobile coocking and soundsytem collectiv. we have our residence in berlin and we mainly support political projects in and around berlin but if nessesary we go where the action takes place.
we only cook with articles from organic agroculture, as fare as possible from lokal production, and vegan.
we work for free and give away food for free. we depend on donations -
food from farms or shops and some donated money from pepole eating at
the actions. surpluses are used to maintain the collective or are given
to other groups.
we run a collective truck which is well known as a demontration vehcile withe our big sondsytem on it.
The Abfall Kueche

The Abfall Kueche cooks primarily using healthy food that would otherwise be thrown away - so it seems quite appropriate for us to cook at a festival based around recycling, and all the creative things that can be done with waste! Over a third of the edible food in our society is thrown away each year - this is crazy, and using it to cook delicious, vegan meals is our way of showing how silly this is!
On 22nd of September, we will be cooking a dinner for the last day of the recycling festival at Grunau, and we would like to invite you to cook with us. If you want to chop some vegetables, peel some potatoes or stir some soup, come along at 13.30 and we would love to have you involved, be it for 20 minutes or a whole afternoon! Any food donations would also be appreciated, and utilised to their maximum potential. See you next week!
