Blue southern

Bluesouthern formed in 2003 as a duo, the two remaining musicians of a former band called "12 Volt". Thus, in the following years the band was made up of F.K. Meyer (vocals and tenor saxophone) and Gabi Wils (5-string-banjo) who played jazz standards, traditionals and more and more own songs - due to the unusual instrumentation in a style of their own.
In spring 2011 Ulrike Jochum became part of the band with her double bass, and in autumn 2011 Ani Kah joined at the snare. The music of bluesouthern is inspired of traditional american music, country and blues.

Gregor Friday -CANCELED-

“We are a groove glazed warrior with 3 metal hearts beating in progressive rhythms. The band begun in Australia some years ago, and is now reborn of the flesh and bone of 3 Auslanders in Berlin.”
Completing the 3rd EP in the ever varying catalogue and beginning pre production on the 4th, Gregor Friday is a band that doesn’t stop working. Moving away from the 90’s alternative and down-tuned progressive sounds of the earlier records to a more fun tongue in cheek take on style and music in general.
Drawing influences from such bands as Faith no More, NIN, Audioslave, Devin Townsend, Karnivool, Porcupine Tree, Led Zeppelin, Rob Zombie and billions of others, Gregor Friday is easily a hard rock sandwich.
“Its kinda Like Progressive Metal with Jazz and Reggae Break downs” – Dave Morgan, Anna Salen
